Technical Datasheet

Diagnostic Process

The structured sequence we follow on every leak detection call — to isolate the root cause, not just the symptom.

  1. 01Electronic leak detector sweep of all brazed joints and fittings
  2. 02Bubble solution on accessible joints and schrader valves
  3. 03Pressure-decay test and nitrogen pressure hold where required
  4. 04UV dye trace for intermittent or slow leaks
  5. 05Inspect evaporator and condenser coils for corrosion and pinholes
  6. 06Log leak location, repair and re-test with full charge verification

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you find a refrigerant leak?

We combine electronic detection, bubble solution, nitrogen pressure-decay and UV dye tracing depending on whether the leak is active, slow or intermittent.

Is a refrigerant leak dangerous?

Most commercial refrigerants are not acutely toxic at low concentration but displace oxygen in confined plant rooms and indicate a system losing capacity. Leaks should be repaired promptly.

Will you regas after finding the leak?

Yes. We repair the leak, pressure-test, evacuate and recharge to the correct weighed charge, then verify performance.
